Terms of Service

Welcome to Keepsee. By accessing or using our website, app, or related services, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Services

Keepsee helps you turn photos and videos into home movies and a family movie library. You can share movies with designated recipients. Features may change as we develop the app. We may modify or discontinue the service.

2. User responsibilities

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a subscription. You are responsible for content you select, upload, or share and for having the rights and permissions needed to use it. Do not submit illegal content or content that infringes others’ rights. Ensure that contributors you invite have consented to share their content.

Share private movie links only with people you trust. Recipients may be able to forward links or save content.

3. Payment and billing

Keepsee is currently free during beta, with no paywall. If a paid plan is offered, its price and terms will be displayed before purchase. Prices are in USD unless otherwise stated. Any subscription renews automatically unless canceled. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid additional charges. App Store purchases and subscription management are also subject to Apple’s applicable terms.

4. Refund policy

For eligible paid purchases, we offer a 60-day satisfaction guarantee from your initial purchase. Contact support@keepsee.com within that period to request a refund. Requests after 60 days are not eligible under this guarantee. Purchases processed by Apple may require a refund request through Apple and are subject to its refund process. No payment is required during the current free beta.

5. Intellectual property

Keepsee’s trademarks, logos, and service content, excluding user-submitted content, belong to Keepsee and may not be used without permission. You retain ownership of your submitted media. You grant us the permission needed to process, store, and deliver it to provide the service and the sharing you request.

6. Optional SMS and WhatsApp reminders

Keepsee’s optional reminder program sends automated reminders to film and add memories to your home movies. SMS and WhatsApp require separate, affirmative opt-in. Consent is not a condition of purchasing or using Keepsee.

You choose the schedule. The default is weekly plus a month-end reminder, typically 5–6 reminders per month. Message frequency varies with your settings. Message and data rates may apply. A verification message may be sent when you request to verify your number.

For SMS, reply STOP to unsubscribe and HELP for assistance. For WhatsApp, turn off WhatsApp reminders in the app or contact support@keepsee.com to withdraw consent. You can change your reminder preferences in the app. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Movie links you choose to send from your own messaging app are separate from Keepsee’s automated reminder program. See our Privacy Policy for details about mobile information and messaging consent. For assistance, contact support@keepsee.com.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Keepsee is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, subject to applicable mandatory consumer protections.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post changes with a new effective date and provide any notice required by law. Continued use after updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance, where permitted by law.
